2010 Merwin Special Kids Day

July 17, 2010 - The Merwin Special Kids' Day event lures Children with disabilities from Doernbecher Children's Hospital, Emanuel Legacy, Kaiser Kids and Shriners hospitals, as well as other special-needs children. Volunteers served as one-on-one fishing coaches assisting youngsters throughout the day. Rods, reels, tackle and T-shirts are provided for the young anglers to use and keep. A free barbecue lunch is served; activities included face painting and storytelling. - Click here for more pictures.
