A large group of children turned out to watch Comedian - Magician Louie Foxx perform. Louie made our tummies hurt from laughing and our mouths hung open in awe at his magic tricks. He is an excellent magician. After his performance ice-cream and punch were served outside under sunny skies. The Friends of the Woodland Community Library hosted this entire event. Abbie Anderson was selected for the Woodland Comunity Library librarian. She is married to Bill Anderson. Abbie was born and raised in Seattle. She is very happy and excited to take on her new job.

The Friends held a farewell party for Bridget Cain-Bushman at Los Pepes in Woodland on May 24, 2006. Nancy Johnson presented a quilt to Bridget for her daughter Abby. For more pictures, click here.
