Silver Lake is easily accessible by exiting I-5 at exit 49 (Castle Rock)and driving East on Highway 504. Turn right at Kerr Road for the public access area. There is a fishing dock and boat ramp as well as parking. Silver Lake is large at almost 3000 acres. It is perfect for family fishing as there are crappie, bass and other spiny ray fish It is the kind of lake you want to explore with many miles of shore line, islands etc. The lake is shallow and has lots of lily pads.
