An American Art Form: Quilts from the Yakima Valley Musem Collections On Tuesday, June 17, 2003, the Yakima Valley Museum will open An American Art Form: Quilts from the Yakima Valley Museum Collections. This exhibits features quilts made from the early 1800s to the present day. This exhibition traces the history of quilts chronologically, using examples from the Yakima Valley Museum's own extensive collection. The opening reception is free and open to the public and will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 17. The exhibit will run from June 17 until September 21, 2003. Admission to the museum is $3.00 for adults, $1.50 for students and seniors, and children 5 and under are free.
