Included in the show will be a Sandy Jandik's dimensional "Trillium" quilt, Mary Goodson's subtle geometry in "The Diminishing Aquifer" and Helene Knott's striking "Can't See the Forest for the Seal's".
The show is presented by the High Fibre Diet Quilt Group, so named because they create fiber art.

2002 Fifth Annual Quilt Walk
Skagit Valley Tulip Festival Sanctioned Event
Downtown Anacortes, Washington will host the 5th annual Fidalgo Island Quilter's quilt walk April 5-21. Quilts are displayed in 50 downtown Anacortes stores. Hours vary. Maps are available at the Anacortes Visitor Center, The Quilt Shop, and participating merchants. Look for the Tulip Sign in merchants' windows.

The show is open to the public and includes quilt displays, wearable art, demonstrations, tea room, and a large merchant mall. The 2002 Raffle Quilt demonstrates this year's theme, "Set Your Course to Anacortes".

Located approximately 45 miles East of Portland, Oregon on the banks of the beautiful Columbia River's Washington side. From Portland take Interstate 84 east, exit at Cascade Locks, cross the river on the Bridge of the Gods, head east on highway 14 for 3 miles and watch for directional signs.
Instructors: Bettina Havig, Nancy Lee Chong, Beverly Dunivent, Diana Cruz, Corliss Marsh and Cathy Stermer. Lectures and Appraisals by AQS Appraisers Julia Zgliniec and Sally Ambrose. AQS Appraiser Eileen Trestain. Geneaology lectures by Mary E.V. Hill of Brigham Young University.
