La Center Centennial Celebration
La Center Twilight Parade
This year the Our Days Steamboat Festival Parade was held on Friday evening August 21, 2009. This was part of the La Center Centennial celebration. Many folks liked the parade in the evening. It was a little dark for taking pictures. The event was well attended. Click here for more pictures.
The La Center Centennial flag was unveiled at the Mayor's State of the City meeting on February 26, 2009. Also a beautiful cake with the logo on it was served.
We are asking interested persons for information regarding the history of La Center and to share their photos from the area.
