Cassie Schrieber's Play - March 1, 2009
Our Granddaughter Cassie Shrieber was a cast member in The North End Players production of the play "The Dining Room" by A. R. Gurney. Cassie's fiancé, Lucas Thompson, was the light and sound technician. It was a very emotional play that caused a person to laugh and cry. The acting was fabulous. I heard many comments about how good it was from those in attendance. Click here for more pictures.

Larada invited several friends and relatives to a karaoke party at the Ambassador Restaurant & Lounge, in Portland, OR, on August 29, 2008. Relatives that had not seen each other for years had a reunion. Very good time for all that attended. Thanks Larada.

Our family party was held on August 24, 2008. All of Noel & Nancy's children and grandchildren attended, as well as spouses and fiancés. Nancy's brother Robert and his daughter Karen and her husband and three children were there. The Benign Band played for the event. Everyone had a fabulous time in spite of a little rain. A huge thank you is due to Nancy for all her great food and decorating. She made ice cream, brownies, three kinds of salad, deviled eggs and ham to name a few. She served corn on the cob, watermellon, cookies, and chips etc.

"God's Favorite" - Comedy Play
Nancy and I attended a play presented by The St. Johns North End Players. Our grandaughter Cassie Schreiber was in the play. The play was a comedy, "God's Favorite", in three acts, written by Neil Simon. It was one of the funniest plays I have ever seen. The actors were just outstanding.
