Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens
Hulda Klager Quilt Raffle

This is an exceptional quilt both in colors and workmanship. We are very proud of it.
The quilt this year was lovingly created by Judy Dettinger & Patty Kuprewicz, close quilting friends of mine. Together these ladies have 35+ years of quilting experience and it shows!! The quilt has beautiful quilt blocks and large borders of fabric with lilacs on it in vibrant colors of deep purple, fuchsia, pink and white. The intricate placement of the quilt blocks within the quilt using these colors along with many different greens and lavenders makes the quilt look like a garden or forest of lilacs.
The pattern is "Victoria's Garden" and is from the book Blended Quilts from In the Beginning.
Thanks for Judy and Patty who donated so much of their fabric "stash" and their valuable time and to Roberta Peterson who donated the bolt of lilac fabric.
Envision yourself wrapped in this quilt! Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. The winning ticket will be drawn July 26, 2011 during our annual picnic at the Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens at 115 South Pekin Road, Woodland.
The raffle quilt is currently being displayed at this time at the Columbia Bank in Woodland and raffle tickets are available there for purchase. Of course the quilt will be on display daily and tickets available during Lilac Days at the Lilac Gardens April 16 to May 8.
