Woody Debris Put Into North Fork Lewis River

Photography by Noel Johnson - Click to enlarge.

This project was funded by PacifiCorp through the Aquatic Habitat Fund and in-kind contributions from the Cowlitz Indian Tribe and others. The logs were placed in groups along the shore of Eagle Island and were cabled together to create artificial log jams to form pools for cover and help keep flows going through the North Channel.
