Santa and Ms Claus
On November 21st Santa and Ms Claus were at Fargher Lake Grange for kids to tell their Christmas present wishes. About 30 children showed up with parents between 12 and 3 PM and had their picture taken with Santa. James Zimmerman was our camera man again this year. Everyone enjoyed, apple cider, hot cocoa, cookies and of course Ms Claus handed out candy canes. Ms Claus was Farghler Lakes own Bianca Elmer. Santa was David Johnson from Mt. Valley Grange. This was their 3rd year for Santa picture taking at the grange. Fargher Lake Grange was all decorated including a beautiful fresh tree donated by FL grange member Betty Carpenter. The children loved hanging out with Claus' while waiting for their photos to print. It was a good time for all.
Fargher Lake Grange had another successful Halloween Carnival on October 31st this year. Well over 200 children participated in games, cake walk and spooky house. A lot of candy and prizes were handed out to the costumed bunch. We grangers had fun dressing up too (see picture above). A lot of parents thanked us for a safe entertaining fun environment for their family. We also collected over 100 pounds of canned goods for the community food bank! Our locals are learning that Fargher Lake Grange means caring and sharing not to mention volunteering! We are proud indeed.
The Fargher Lake Grange is holding a Bingo night on the first Saturday of each month. Bingo starts at: 4:00 PM. We also sell hot dogs, soda, chips and doughnuts for those that are interested in a snack during Bingo Night. Come and join us for a fun evening. ~James Zimmerman~ firstname.lastname@example.org
