A Day Trip to Bonneville Dam

A Day Trip to Bonneville Dam from Woodland, in September, when the salmon are in, is an awesome experience. You can watch the salmon using the fish ladders to travel above the Dam, then go to the salmon spawning area and watch that operation. Be sure and see the giant sturgeons and feed the rainbow trout and ducks. You can buy pellets to feed the fish for 25 cents. The park like setting is landscaped with magnificent flowers.
