A Day Trip to Astoria

Sunday Market and Columbia River Maritime Museum

This is a very easy and enjoyable day trip from Woodland, WA. Drive north on I-5 to Longview. Cross over the Longview bridge to the Oregon side of the Columbia River. Travel on this highway (30) to Astoria.

When you enter Astoria you will see the Columbia River Maritime Museum on the right.

Just a little further is the Sunday Market on the left.
It is possible to park at the Museum and walk to the Sunday Market.




There are many fine places serving seafood etc.
If you start out around 9 am you will have plenty of time to
spend in Astoria and still get back before dark.
