The Cathlapotle Plankhouse opened to the public for the season March 29, 2008. Living history actor Tom Laidlaw, portrayed Meriwether Lewis. There was a full house in spite of the weather. The Cathlapotle Plankhouse is open noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, through Oct. 26, 2008.
