The 4th annual North Clark Folk Festival, hosted by the North Clark Historical Museum, was held August 18, 2007. There were craft demonstrations in the Museum. Food was available. The following musical groups were a great hit: The Clark County Benign Band, Jeff and Tracy Bowen, Three Together and the Rite of Spring. Click here for more pictures.

The La Center High School equestrian team is doing a horse show fund raiser on July 22, 2007. The event will be held at 4L arena in Amboy next to Territorial Park. Sign ups start at 8 am and the show starts at 9 am. There will be 5 events; barrels, poles, speed barrels, key pole, and figure 8. There will be 4 age groups; 10 and under, 11 – 17, 18 – 39, and 40 & over. We will be awarding prizes to third place. For questions I can be reached at 360-901-6820 or by email at joanc@bocc.com. Ralph and Shirley Bozorth have been collecting and creating material for this display for many, many years. Ralph and Shirley tour area schools allowing students to learn about Native American culture. Most of the material comes from the Lewis River Valley. Click here for photographs taken at the 2002 BirdFest in Ridgefield, Wa. They also have displays at the North Clark Historical Museum in Amboy.
